Some think marijuana could be the answer to the rising heroin epidemic. According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, states with medical cannabis laws had an opioid overdose rate almost 25 percent lower than average in 2014. Samantha Sonner has more.

Medical marijuana bill snuffed out in House committee

RALEIGH – North Carolinians looking for some relief with the use of medical marijuana have been snuffed out.
